This release includes important security and reliability improvements to how the app receives notifications, ensuring your alerts keep arriving quickly and dependably.

We've made scheduling even more convenient. You can now schedule future statuses directly from your Favorites, saving you time and typing. We've also made searching and filtering the board smarter, so you can find the right people faster, and we reorganized Favorites so your personal Favorites now appear above your company's. Rounding things out are some visual polish and accessibility improvements to the board.

We've added a Reporting API endpoint that allows customers to generate reporting totals directly from Simple In/Out. This new endpoint provides a more efficient way to access and analyze your data, making it easier than ever to gain insights and make informed decisions based on your Simple In/Out data.

This update focuses on reliability. We fixed a timing issue that could occasionally interfere with loading your status history and scheduled statuses, making the app more dependable day to day.

You can now open Microsoft Teams chat links right from Simple In/Out Desktop, making it easier to jump into a conversation. We also improved the reliability of notifications behind the scenes.

We're excited to announce the next major release of Simple In/Out Desktop, featuring a completely redesigned Desktop Presence experience that makes automatic status updates smarter than ever.

- Smart Network Detection: Desktop Presence can now intelligently understand your network conditions and update your status based on where you're actually working — no manual toggles required. In the office? You're marked "In the Office." Working from home? Your status updates appropriately, all on its own.
- Flexible Idle Time Settings: Every workplace is different, so administrators can now customize how long a computer must be idle before your status changes to away — anywhere from 5 minutes to a full hour.

This update rolls out automatically for Desktop Presence users. As always, these improvements come directly from listening to you.
